Gears of War 3 was officially announced this time over National T.V. last night (Some rare people saw an accidental release on Monday on Xbox Live). The released trailer gives a nice view on what you may be seeing including possibly a female gear?

The scheduled release date for Gears 3 is April 5th 2011 for those of us that are fans of the series it will be a long wait.

For those wanting to “Gear” up for the new release Xbox Live avatars and other purchasable content will be available on April 20th 2010 for purchase.
